About me
Bevin Hardy is a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a Ph.D. in anthropology. She received her Masters in sustainability from the University of Louisville while focusing on her research tracking harmful algal blooms in the Ohio River. Bevin’s current research seeks to understand the lived experience of climate change and how communities perceive and respond to these changes. Her ultimate goal is to emphasize community voices and engage communities in research to create more meaningful solutions in the future. This presentation will discuss the impact of climate change on coastal communities from a human perspective.
